The Details
How We Do It
Bailey’s Clubhouse is a “plug and play” childcare center working in conjunction with healthcare organizations. Our innovative model is a partnership between Bailey’s Clubhouse and providers. Bailey’s Clubhouse provides all organizational support and logistical structure of the operations and programming – including staffing, curriculum, supplies, and associated elements of the childcare center. Our healthcare partners refer cancer patients with childcare needs and provide the physical space and facilities for the childcare center, including maintenance, parking, and janitorial services. Bailey’s Clubhouse 501c3 serves as the sustainable, nonprofit fundraising arm to support the daily operations of our childcare centers.

There is a
Documented Need
As our founder repeatedly circled back to the nagging need for childcare for cancer patients, we investigated it from an academic perspective, finding substantial literature documenting that childcare is indeed a gap in services for cancer patients. Please read the attached white paper for more detailed information regarding the history of our organization and a literature review supporting the need for Bailey’s Clubhouses to help confront this barrier to successful healthcare treatment for parental cancer patients.
