Welcome to
Bailey’s
Bailey’s Clubhouses offer free childcare for parents undergoing cancer treatment, giving them peace of mind while they attend medical appointments. The no-cost childcare centers are made possible through innovative partnerships between medical providers and Bailey’s Clubhouse and the generous support of businesses and individuals in our community. We are proud to provide childcare in order to directly address this documented gap in services and barrier to care for cancer patients.
The task of locating and paying for childcare, on top of a sick parent in the home, results in extreme stress for families facing a cancer diagnosis and treatment. Bailey’s Clubhouse evolved out of our founder’s personal experiences while taking his wife to her cancer treatment appointments. With a strong personal support system, he had a long list of family and friends available to watch their children during his wife’s appointments and treatments. However, he quickly observed that many cancer patients did not have this same level of support and patients often struggled to find childcare during treatments.

Our Mascot
Our team mascot is Bailey, an English cream golden retriever who symbolizes the mission, goals, and values of Bailey’s Clubhouse. Her personality and welcoming face embody our childcare environment by promoting a joyful and welcoming center. Bailey is unwavering in her kindness and consistently looks for hugs, laughter, and play. Every day in Bailey’s world is a good day and we plan to embrace that philosophy as we work to ease the stress of childcare for families with a parent with cancer.

Our Services
Bailey’s Clubhouses provide childcare at no-cost for parents and legal guardians who need to attend oncology medical appointments and treatments. Bailey’s Clubhouses serve pre-enrolled, pre-scheduled children aged 3 months to 6 years. The enrollment process includes items such as: a medical referral from a treating physician providing verification of the cancer diagnosis for the parent or legal guardian; standard childcare release forms; and a minimum of three emergency contacts who are available to retrieve the child in the case that the parent is medically unable to return to the childcare center. Supervised by certified childcare specialists and incorporating paid and volunteer staff, Bailey’s Clubhouses utilize programming, toys, and activities specifically designed for children facing stressful situations.
