Grant Miller – Board Member
Grant is an attorney in Ice Miller’s Real Estate, Environmental & Energy Law (REEL) Group in their Columbus, Ohio office. Bringing extensive legal resources and knowledge to the Bailey’s Board of Directors, Grant fills the room with a passion for community service, interlaced with his young energy and gregarious nature, all of which support our Bailey’s Clubhouse team atmosphere.
After attending Tulane University, where he double majored in Russin and International Relations, Grant earned his juris doctor from Vanderbilt University Law School. While in law school, he was a member of the International Law Society, Law Students for Social Justice, and part of the staff for the Journal of Transnational Law.
Growing up in a community-minded family, Grant has been active in the nonprofit world his entire life. He served as a youth lacrosse coach in Texas for 1st and 2nd graders, then went on to volunteer while in college in the New Orleans schools as a reader and mentor. During law school, Grant served as a summer intern for the Nashville Public Defender’s Office and the Nashville Metro Government Legal. Grant saw first-hand as a child the struggles of families with a parent facing cancer, as he watched his mother’s two best friends battle cancer, while Grant’s mother and his family helped in any way that they could. Grant is excited and honored to join the Board of Directors and apply his legal skills and enthusiasm to support the mission and work of Bailey’s Clubhouse.
